Representatives from both management and labor at a factory in Central America attend a Global Works program regarding constructive communications and problem solving, legal rights of workers and managers, and basic business principles.

GlobalWorks Foundation works to improve the protection and advancement of human rights in the global economy, particularly in low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs). These rights include those enshrined in the International Bill of Human Rights, and well as the International Labour Organization’s Fundamental Conventions.

GlobalWorks has extensive experience building partnerships between corporations and civil society to uphold rights in LMICs, including in conjunction with US government agencies such as USAID, the Department of Labor and the State Department.

A primary means by which GlobalWorks pursues this goal is through training and capacity building programs, policy development, and innovative partnerships, involving global businesses, civil society, and government agencies.

GlobalWorks brings together a uniquely credible and diverse group of experts for its training programs, including from academia, civil society, businesses, and practitioners specialized in global supply chains. These programs engage a wide range of stakeholders from workers and managers to senior executives.
